Announcing Jennifer Alsop as Director, External Relations and Partnerships
Â鶹ÊÓƵ is delighted to announce Jennifer Alsop as the new Director, External Relations & Partnerships. With more than a decade of leadership in partnership development and external relations, Jennifer brings unparalleled expertise in fostering strategic collaborations that strengthen the university’s ties with industry, government, and community partners. Her experience and innovative approach will play a crucial role in enhancing Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s position as a hub for research excellence, industry-driven innovation, and community collaboration.
Jennifer has been a valued member of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community since 2018, when she helped establish the university’s Partnership office. Her achievements include leading the promotion and partnership for Project Arrow, Canada’s first all-electric concept vehicle, which showcased Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s cutting-edge research and student talent. Her leadership has been instrumental in building high-value partnerships, securing advancement opportunities, and amplifying the university’s impact through collaborative projects. Most recently, as the Director of the Brilliant Energy Institute, Jennifer strengthened Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s energy leadership by cultivating relationships across academic, industry, and government spheres while championing sustainable solutions.
In her new role, Jennifer will focus on advancing Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s external engagement strategies, driving impactful new partnerships and deepening existing ones, while positioning the university as a partner of choice for transformative collaborations.
